Membership

Become an AIChE National and a Tappan Zee Local Section member

Being a full member of the organization is the best way to benefit from membership and also support your technical association. You can join the national association through the membership page. On that page you can also see the myriad benefits that being a national member provides. These include:

  • One year subscriptions to CEP Chemical Engineering Progress®, AIChExchange, and AIChE SmartBrief
  • Free, unlimited access to the AIChE eLibrary, featuring the Knovel® Life Sciences collection
  • Unlimited access to LIVE and archived AIChE webinars
  • Entrée to exclusive online member communities, Local Sections, Technical Divisions and Forums, and Technological Communities
  • Preferred rates on AIChE conferences — attend just one conference a year and your AIChE membership pays for itself
  • Members-only group rates on comprehensive insurance products (in the US)
  • Substantial discounts on courses, conference recordings, and webinars at the AIChE Academy
  • Preferred member discounts at Office Depot®, Avis® and Hertz®, The UPS® Store, hotels and cruises, online shopping, and more
  • Savings on books, magazines, and journals

If you opt to join the national association, please remember to opt in to also join the Tappan Zee local section! We are section number 104.

Join the Tappan Zee Section only

While we encourage you to become a full member, joining both AIChE and the Tappan Zee Section, we would welcome you to the Tappan Zee Section as a local section-only member. The membership fee for the Tappan Zee Section is $10/y, the same as doing it through AIChE. This is done on a calendar year basis, but if you join after June 30th of a given year, you will be charged $5 for that year. You can join by check or cash at a meeting, or through PayPal, either with a PayPal account or by using a credit card through PayPal. Our by-laws limit local section-only membership to two years.

PayPal button will be here. There are some issues to resolve.
