Welcome to the web home of the Tappan Zee Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.  We are based in the lower Hudson Valley of New York State.  We maintain ties to other area societies, including the AIChE sections in neighboring areas, the American Chemical Society's Westchester chapter, and the Hudson Valley Council of Technical Societies.  If you are a chemical engineer in our area, we would welcome your participation in our section.  We generally hold monthly meetings, often jointly with other groups.  Please contact us for information, or monitor this site!  If you wish to participate in our online discussion group, please send an e-mail to our webmaster.

Career Night Dinner, Wed., October 18, 2006, 6:15 PM

Please join the Tappan Zee Section’s
Eleventh Annual Career Night with the Senior Class of Chemical Engineers of our Adopted school, MANHATTAN COLLEGE

PROGRAM:
·          Cocktails start at 6:15 pm
·          Volunteer mentoring for resumes
·          Opening remarks at 7:00 pm
·          Dinner at 7:25 pm
·          Student-mentor informal discussions on career planning and development
·          Mock interviews by volunteers
·          Recognition to participating companies. 
·          Event ends at 9:15 pm
COST:  $26 per person, if reserved in advance.  $29 at the door.  

Sponsor company:  $100 for a group of one company representative and up to three Manhattan College senior or graduate student guests.  Sponsoring companies are entitled to post an AD for one-year on www.tzaiche.org

 The Tappan Zee Section wishes to acknowledge the past sponsorship from local companies.
